Romeo’s Diary-Entry 4
Dear diary,
I have been banished from Verona. To explain what was
previously stated, a fight broke out between Mercutio and Tybalt. To prevent
more fighting, I tried to get in the way of things, but it didn’t work out. I
killed Tybalt, and now I’m being banished from Verona. This is punishment for
my crime.
My biggest complex with being banished from Verona is my
inability to see Juliet. Juliet is my sun. She brights up everything in this
world, and without her here with me, it is dark and gloomy all the time. Juliet
is the reason for my happiness and it is a shame that there is a possibility I
may never see her again. If I had known that one of the consequences of my
actions was never seeing Juliet again, I would’ve handled the situation
differently.
