Romeo’s Diary-Entry 10

Dear diary,

            When I go to Juliet’s casket, I see her beautiful face. It is tragic news that such a beautiful girl is now deceased. It brings me great sorrow. Life without Juliet is no life at all. I killed off Paris trying to get my peace with her. I shall drink my poison to be with Juliet for eternity in the mystery that is the afterlife.

            Juliet and I did not get to live the life that I had imagined for us. I had hoped to be with her forever. I expected for us to last longer, together and alive. It is crazy how simple life events can alter your life completely. This is unfortunately the path I chose to take, and now it ends here.

Juliet’s Diary-Entry 10

Dear diary,

            Romeo has finally made it to my tomb! He had fought off Paris and even killed him. When I wake up, the first thing I ask is about Romeo’s whereabouts. I later find out that he is dead. I couldn’t believe it at first, but alas it is true. Romeo is dead, and I will be too.

            Romeo was a great husband and I shall join him in death. He drank all the poison he had brought with him and that leaves me with no liquid to drink. It is a good thing I packed a dagger for a reason. I shall join Romeo in death by stabbing myself. We will finally be together like we were destined to be.

Romeo’s Diary-Entry 9

Dear diary,

            I had the most wonderful dream about Juliet. I was later given news that my Juliet was dead. Balthasar had came into my room with absolutely no letter from Friar Lawrence and had told me Juliet is dead. My sweet Juliet has died. To fix this nightmare, I had gone out to seek an apothecary to sell me poison.

            Selling poison is illegal, so I have to go to an apothecary for it. When talking to the Apothecary, I noticed he was hesitant to give me the poison. I told him that he was too poor to refuse the money and that he should just take it. I eventually got my poison and was on my way to die with Juliet. It’s a shame it had to come down to this.

Juliet’s Diary-Entry 9

Dear diary,

            It is post-funeral time. I am in a casket waiting for Romeo to come. I have yet to know if Friar Lawrence has delivered the news of me being dead to Romeo. I hope that he is on his way to come rescue me out of this tight casket. It will only be a matter of time before I run out of oxygen and actually die.

            Whatever Friar Lawrence is doing, he better do it quick. The potion is almost wearing out and I can’t stay in here much longer. It is important that he acts fast especially when my life is involved. I can only hope that they’re on their way and coming for me. I hope for a life without worrying about showing my affection towards Romeo.

Romeo’s Diary-Entry 8

Dear diary,

            I still have yet to hear from Friar Lawrence. I have faith that the plan is going smoothly as of this point. I believe in Juliet and that everything is going right. Lately I’ve been thinking of the future. Since there’s not much to do here in Mantua, I’ve resorted to daydreaming. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about Juliet and I ill do once we’re finally together.

            When out plan is executed completely, we will travel the world. We will spend the rest of our lives together having lots of fun and will never need anyone else but ourselves. The dream is to be together until the end of time. I have faith that we will be and that we will enjoy it a lot. We will be our companions.

Juliet’s Diary-Entry 8

Dear diary,

            The wedding day is today. I have successfully taken the potion and people now think I’m dead. The plan is playing out perfectly. It brings me joy to think that I will be with Romeo soon and all of my worries will be left behind in Verona. He will be with me soon and we will run away to Mantua.

            Now that people think I’m dead, I will have a funeral. It makes me sad thinking that my family members think I am in fact dead. It is a shame it had to resort to me faking my own death to be with the one I love. It will all be worth it in the end for I will finally be happy with my husband. It is all I ever wanted anyway.

Romeo’s Diary-Entry 7

Dear diary,

            The plan is in action. Juliet is carrying out the plan as I write this entry. I have heard no news from Friar Lawrence. Friar Lawrence is supposed to be the one who carries out the plan and delivers the messages. So far, I haven’t a clue what’s going on.  

            When Friar Lawrence delivers a message, I’ll be updated about what is happening in Verona. Since I’m banished, it makes messages get to me slower. I don’t know if it is going well in Verona or not. For all I know, the plan didn’t work. I’m hoping for the best and that all is going smoothly.
