Juliet’s Diary-Entry 6
Dear diary,
Since Romeo has been banished from Verona, he has planned
to go to Mantua. Him and I have talked for quite awhile and we have no doubt
that we will see each other again in the future. To work this is just another
bump in the road that can be easily overlooked. My nurse came to my room and she
found me crying. Crying is part of my plan to see Romeo again.
The
first step of my plan is to make the Nurse believe that I am grieving over
Tybalt, when I am not. I tell the Nurse to let me grieve the loss of my dead
cousin and make it seem like I’m mad at Romeo. I told Lady Capulet that I want
Romeo dead for what he did to my cousin. All of this is part of my plan for my
family members not to expect me liking Romeo, so that him and I can live in
happily ever after. My parents are also thinking of marrying me to Count Paris.
