Juliet’s Diary-Entry 5

Dear diary,

            There has been a fight between Mercutio and Tybalt. Tybalt instigated a fight with Mercutio and used the warm weather as an excuse to continues with his actions. To put an end to the fight, Romeo steps in and tells Tybalt that he cares for him. A fight breaks out between Mercutio and Tybalt, and Romeo tries to stop it. After all of the fighting, I hear that Romeo is banished from Verona.

            When I first hear the news, I’m awe for two reasons: My cousin Tybalt is dead and Romeo has been vanished from Verona. Romeo killed Tybalt which resulted in him getting banished. I am really upset with the ban put on Romeo. I’ve been crying myself to sleep because I’m no longer able to see my husband. I don’t know when I’ll see him again, and my greatest fear right now is that I won’t.
