Juliet’s Diary-Entry 4

Dear diary,

            I can’t believe I’ve actually gotten married to Romeo. It all happened so fast and I am happy that I did it. Friar Lawrence agreed to marry us and did it in secret. Only a few people know about the marriage and we plan on keeping it low to prevent people from starting yet another fight. We only have one more chance before prince Escalus is bound to execute everyone.

Not very much has happened today, unfortunately. I also haven’t seen or heard from Romeo. I just hope that everything is fine in Verona and that my husband is safe. Everything between the two families has been all right, nothing crazy has been happening. I hope peoples’ reaction to me being wed to Romeo isn’t a big one, but I know it will be. It has been made very clear that I am not to do something that is against the family rules.
