Juliet’s Diary-Entry 1

Dear diary,

Today was another day in the Capulet Family. Usually, we try our best to avoid the Montagues, but today was different. There was a fight outside between Sampson and Gregory. I didn’t see any of it, but I heard about it, and now I’m writing it down. To this day I still do not know what had happened between my family and the Montague’s.

Sometimes I wish that they would just get along. There never is a good reason to fight physically. I believe that there should be another way to take out their anger. It isn’t fair that I just have to go along with such violence. They don’t even know what they’re doing. They just know that they’re supposed to hate each other because of something that happened so long ago.
